iNaturalist - This website and free smartphone app let you upload pictures of any living thing you find, and the built-in image recognition will give you the most likely species. Your observations also help scientists collect data on where different kinds of organisms are found! With a busy forum and many experts and hobbyists ready to help, this international citizen science platform is quickly becoming a highly respected source of data!
